# Profile settings

Update your display name or avatar in the hosted account dashboard, then confirm the change on another Foxora surface.

1. Open [account.foxora.ai](https://account.foxora.ai) and choose **Profile & preferences**.
2. Select **Edit profile**.
3. Change the first name, last name, or profile image.
4. Choose **Save profile** and wait for the success message.
5. Reopen Studio or refresh the account dashboard to verify the updated identity.

The verified email identifies the account and is not edited by the profile form. Password changes use the separate **Reset password** control on the same page. Avoid placing confidential information in a display name or avatar because these can appear across Foxora apps and shared work.

**Expected result:** the saved name or avatar is visible after refresh without changing the account email.
