# Agent models and tiers

Studio exposes Fennec tiers instead of asking users to manage a raw model for every task. The gateway resolves the available route and fallback order.

## Choose routing

1. Open a custom agent and select `Models`.
2. Keep `Foxora-managed` to use the published Fast, Pro, and Max routes.
3. Choose `Your own model` only after adding a provider in `Settings` → `Models`.
4. If an ordered route is available, place the preferred model first and keep only useful fallbacks.
5. Save and use `Save & run` with a representative prompt.

## Expected result

The test reports a successful response through the intended route. Tier availability follows the account plan, and hard provider or policy failures are not bypassed by adding more fallbacks.
