# Test a chatbot

Test the agent’s reasoning and the website transport as separate checks.

## Run an end-to-end test

1. Test the Bot agent from its `Models` tab with `Save & run`.
2. Save the Chatbot crew and validate its purpose, instructions, audience, branding, and exact website origin.
3. Publish the deployment, then open the generated share link or embed it on the allowed site.
4. Send a normal question and a request that should be blocked or escalated.
5. Confirm the reply, task activity, and any plugin action under the intended account.

## Expected result

The public surface opens only from an allowed origin, produces a real reply, and respects agent permissions. A published badge or visible widget alone is not proof that the full message path works.
