# V5 release notes

Foxora V5 establishes shared account and task contracts while keeping device authority, local data, and client update paths explicit.

## Current V5 behavior

- Desktop, Web, CLI, and the account dashboard use the same Foxora identity, but local projects and memory do not automatically copy between devices.
- Tasks expose Ask permissions, Accept edits, Auto mode, and Full Access; operating-system permissions remain a separate device gate.
- Browser work selects Automatic, Foxora Browser, My Chrome, or Background, with the optional Browser Pack or Foxora Connect where required.
- Conversation memory uses native storage and portable data categories.
- Plans, credits, devices, invoices, and security sessions are managed through account surfaces.

Check later V5 releases before assuming every client has the same build or capability.

**Expected result:** the selected client follows these boundaries and its About or version output identifies the build under test.
