# Artifacts and generated files

Stage opens generated code, documents, previews, and files beside the task so you can inspect the deliverable without leaving its transcript.

## Steps

1. Open the artifact link from the task, or select its surface from the Stage switcher.
2. Use Preview and Code when both views are available.
3. Compare the content with the request and any project file it should update.
4. Copy, save, download, or reveal the result using the actions offered by that surface.

## Expected result

The deliverable remains tied to its task and can be reviewed or exported in the form the surface supports.

> **Note:** A preview is evidence, not proof of persistence; confirm the intended project file exists before closing the task.
