# Overview

Troubleshoot Foxora by identifying the failing surface, preserving the exact error, and changing one layer at a time.

1. Repeat the smallest safe action that shows the problem.
2. Record Desktop and CLI versions, operating system, time and timezone, account, and task or request identifier.
3. Decide whether the failure is account, local runtime, cloud service, project, permission, model, tool, browser, or connection related.
4. Apply one reversible correction, then rerun the same action.
5. Collect redacted diagnostics before reinstalling or clearing data.

Use **Settings → System** for runtime and service status, **Settings → About** for version and support, and `foxora doctor` for CLI checks. A green service tile does not prove that the original task path works.

**Expected result:** either the exact reproduction succeeds, or one named layer and its evidence remain for support.
