# Panels and saved view state

Foxora remembers practical layout state so reopening the app does not force you to rebuild the workspace.

## Steps

1. Resize the sidebar or Stage by dragging its edge.
2. Collapse the sidebar with Command/Ctrl+B or Stage with Command/Ctrl+J.
3. Expand Stage when a terminal, preview, or artifact needs more room.
4. Switch tasks and reopen the previous surface to confirm its view is still available.

## Expected result

Panel widths, collapsed state, and open Stage context return when the workspace is revisited.

> **Note:** A compact window may temporarily collapse panels to protect the main content area; expanding the window restores room for them.
