Models

Foxora separates the Fennec experience from provider model names. Managed Fennec tiers route through the Foxora AI Gateway, while optional provider connections let custom agents use your own model accounts.

  2. 27.02Connecting an AI providerA provider connection makes that account's supported models available to custom agent routes. It does not replace the managed Foxora gateway or add individual model names to the task composer.
  3. 27.03Bring Your Own KeyBYOK lets a custom agent route through models billed to your provider account. The provider form accepts the secret; later edits keep saved secrets masked.
  4. 27.04Selecting modelsThe task composer is Fennec-only: it shows built-in Fennec tiers and eligible saved Agent crews, not a flat catalog of provider model names.
  5. 27.05Fennec processing tiersFennec tiers describe the level of work, not a permanent vendor model. The gateway can resolve and fail over models behind each tier without changing the user-facing choice.
  6. 27.06Default and per-task routingNew tasks start with Foxora's managed Fennec route. A selection in the composer belongs to that task; Studio does not offer a global raw-model default in Settings.
  7. 27.07Availability, cost, and limitsTier access comes from the signed-in account and plan. Managed work consumes Foxora credits, while BYOK routes can also be subject to the connected provider's billing and rate limits.
