Desktop versus Web
Desktop is the choice for local folders and device tools; Web always runs tasks in a managed cloud workspace.

Steps
- Choose Desktop when the task needs a local project, native terminal, computer control, or device browser mode.
- Choose Web when you want a cloud workspace available from a modern browser.
- On Web, clone a repository or use the private task workspace instead of selecting a local folder.
- Use Foxora Connect when Web needs an approved signed-in Chrome tab.
Expected result
The task runs where its files and permissions actually exist, with no ambiguity about local versus cloud authority.
Note: Foxora Browser and Background browser modes are configured on Desktop; Web connects to Chrome through the extension.
