Schedules and recurrence
The workflow trigger owns timing. Studio can represent one-time, hourly, daily, weekly, interval, and custom cron schedules with an explicit time zone.

Set reliable timing
- Open the schedule’s workflow canvas.
- Choose the schedule trigger and the simplest recurrence that matches the requirement.
- Set the local time and confirm the displayed time zone.
- For a custom cron value, use a valid five-part expression and verify its next run.
- Save, test once manually, then activate the workflow.
Expected result
The schedule card shows a human-readable recurrence and the intended next time. Daylight-saving changes follow the selected time zone. Avoid creating overlapping intervals when a prior run can still be active; check Runs before shortening a cadence.
