Test before publishing

Save the current draft and resolve every requirement shown in the editor.
Use safe sample data and accounts reserved for testing when possible.
Select Test run and wait for the completion or update notice.
Open Runs and expand the workflow execution to inspect each step.
Verify outputs and external destinations, then test one failure or rejection path.

Expected result

Every expected step reaches success, skip, failure, or needs-approval for a known reason. The final output matches the workflow goal and no external action is duplicated. A successful canvas validation is not a substitute for this execution check.
