Private and temporary workspaces
A task without an attached project uses a private managed workspace for exploratory work that should not touch an existing repository.

Steps
- Start a task without attaching a project.
- Ask Fennec to create the temporary files and state how the result should be checked.
- Inspect the files in the task’s Files view or download the artifacts on Web.
- Attach a durable folder or repository before continuing work that must live with a real project.
Expected result
Exploratory files remain isolated from your existing projects until you deliberately move or recreate them.
Note: Desktop projectless tasks may restrict shell or file operations until a project folder or sufficient local authority is attached.
